Kathleen Shanks

Kathleen Shanks (Kat) is, first and foremost, a woman of God’s Word with an incredible servant’s heart. She is married to Chuck, and, for the past 25+ years, she has worked with Pregnancy Care Centers serving thousands of Clients. Currently she is the Executive Director of New Path Pregnancy Resource Centers.

On Friday night, Kat will start us off with a night filled with fun and her own brand of comedy. On Saturday we will dive into the scriptures and she will share with us how to be “Wise and Harmless Women in a Foolish and Dangerous World” answering the questions: Who Are You? Walk Worthy and Fear Not.

The registration fee includes Friday & Saturday night accommodations, Friday evening snack and beverages, Saturday breakfast & lunch, and Sunday morning breakfast. Friday and Saturday dinner are on your own. Scholarships are available for Marysville Grace attenders.

Kathryn Rohrer will host the class and is a Certified REFIT® Instructor. REFIT® classes are one-size-fits-all. Modifications are easy to implement to increase or decrease the workout intensity, and the follow-the-leader instruction style ensures that all participants feel successful in their workout experience.

Join us on Wednesdays, January 17 & 24, 7-8:30pm, as Pastor Clancy leads us in a study of the thematic structures of the Bible. For example, Old Testament - New Testament structure, Bible genre, basic Bible study methods, and various interpretive clues like authorship, historical context, literary context, and people groups, as well as a full Bible timeline. Bring your Bible, a small notebook, and pen. Class notes will be provided. Register today!

Parenting can be hard. Technology can be helpful, but it also makes things a lot more difficult. On Wednesday, January 17, 7-8:30pm, we are inviting anyone with a child, infants through 12th graders, to come be equipped with some resources and insights into this new world that we are living in and how to parent through it. We desire to come alongside and encourage while you navigate and direct your children in this area. Please register today!

Relevant will begin meeting on Wednesdays starting January 17. College students and young singles are welcome to join us at 7pm at the Ministry Center. In addition to community-building among fellow believers, we’ll be going through the 6-week study, The Explicit Gospel, by Matt Chandler.

Join us on Friday, January 19, 9:30-11am, for a great time of encouragement and fellowship for moms with kids of any age. Everyone is always welcome! We have lots to learn from each other as we GROW together! At this meeting we will discuss chapters 4 & 5 of "Organizing You" by Shannon Upton. Shannon joyfully shares practical, manageable ways to make our household function more smoothly as we grow closer to Jesus in a real way!

Due to the large number of ladies who attend, childcare is limited to each moms own children. Please register your child(ren) so we can be well-staffed.

Please join us as we gather to usher in the New Year by asking God to bring His newness to our lives, relationships, church, and community. “See, I am doing a new thing” (Isaiah 43:19)! Printed materials will be available to assist you in praying. We’ll meet on Monday, January 22, 7pm for this informal time of prayer at the Cooke’s home.

Men, do you need a jump start? A wakeup call? Does your heart need revived or do you need an infusion of life this New Year?

CPR Groups are a great way to challenge yourself spiritually and physically while connecting relationally with other men. These groups will give you the opportunity to deepen your relationships with Christ and other men. It will even provide you the chance to get in shape.

We will be doing a weekly cross fit workout together. We will be reading the book A Gospel Primer by Milton Vincent together, and will have other weekly challenges during this six week experience. Please join us on Friday February 2, at 9 pm for our kickoff at the church.

Registration fee of $8 covers the cost of the book.

Please register by Sunday, January 28, so we can have a book ready for you.

Fused game night

FUSED Game Night

FUSED Game Night All 5th & 6th graders are welcome to join us and bring a friend on Saturday, February 10, 6:30-9pm, in the Gathering Area following the Saturday evening service. Pizza will be provided, but kids can bring the following:

  • A-G: bring pop to share

  • M-Z: bring something salty/sweet to share

We’ll have some group games, ping pong, and corn hole. Bring your favorite board game to play, too! A few parent volunteers are needed to help with set up, serving pizza, and clean up (indicate your interest when you register your child).
